Week 2 - Day 3

2 MILE RUN or CROSS - I was up early and did 2 miles on my eliptical, could go a lil longer, 7 Minutes doesnt seem like much and I did a  30 min Tricep/Bicep workout.  Havent been getting up early cause I have been doing most of my training in the evening, BUT tomorrow morn gotta be outta the house by 5:40 am to get my 3 miles in. Wish me luck  Oh and 33 days completely smoke free! Yay!! :)

Week 2 - Day 1& 2 Half Marathon Train

Day 1 - Stretch and Stregthen - Did my Yoga Booty Ballet - Strengthen DVD, It was awesome!! Little bit o' cardio/ 5lb weights, lots of ballet and lots of yoga stretching.

Day 2 - 3 Mile Run - Got to the track and got my 3 miles in plus a shoulder work out with a mix of abs to kick my butt!!!  Then left the track and went to the Dance Studio for some Hip Hop, HOLLA!!!

Week 1 - Day 6 & 7

Day 6 - 30 MIn Cross - 3 Mile Run and Chest felt Awesome, had the gym to myself! Woot!
Day 7 -  4 MIle Run - Up real early but I only had time for a 3 Mile run :(  Had to get the little boy to his hockey tournament.

Week 1 - Day 5 Half Marathon Train

Day 5 - 30 Minute Cross on my eliptical, felt great! I have been scared to get on that stupid thing but it was a cake walk, not sure what I was so afraid of!

Week 1 - Day 4 Half Marathon Train

This was my rest day :) Rob and I took the chillies for supper and out to Barrage - a young, celtic fiddle group, the chillies loved it!  Rest is supposed to be on Day 5 but I had to switch it up.  Felt good to sleep in a lil.

Day 3 - Week 1

Day 3 - Wednesday,  Nov. 23
Slept in until 6:30! Woo Hoo!!
On my day 3 schedule, I was only supposed to do a 2 mile run/cross train, SO I went to the track and did a 3 mile run and 30 min freeweights biceps/triceps.  Might have to follow the schedule cause my joints are a little achey in spots! Really wanting to push myself but I need to stay on track so that I don't over do it.
LESSON FOR THE DAY:  Stick to the program, you can do it!!

Day 2 - Week One

OK, this was a crazy day!  It was my 3-mile day, it went like this:
6:00 AM - 30 Min Shoulders (upped it from 2 to 3 tri-sets, I love these!)
   **Work, supper, family (get my quality time with them)
7:00 PM -  Out to the fieldhouse, Stretch and hit the track for 3 Miles, went slow and steady for the first 10 laps then kicked it up for the last 11 laps, felt real good, like I could go longer, so I will just go a lil faster:
      *GOAL - 1 Lap/Minute - Day 3 is only 2 Miles so I will try that!!
7:45 PM - Hit the gym for a leg work out with free weights (Lunges, Dead lifts and Fit ball and Abs)8:15 PM - Hop in my van to the Dance Warehouse for my 45 Min Hip Hop Class

Wow! Full but satisfying day and I get to sleep in a lil tomorrow!! :)

Day 1 - Week 1

Well, Day 1 on my training schedule is Stretch/Strength so I did 40 Mins Yoga/Pilates, felt real good to get my stretch on, it's definitely a sweet start to the week!  Put my chillies to bed and had the whole quiet house to myself to do my video :)  Can't wait for Day 2!

Week 1

Day 1 - Also Day 25 completely smoke free!
Stretch and Strength - One hour of Yoga/Pilates

I have this great DVD so I am looking forward to it, it's pretty intese, but I need it.  Been running 2-3 miles consistently for the last 10 days but kicked it up to 4 miles on Sunday! Felt good to get back in the game.
